Sellers comment:
This 1969 Jaguar E-type coupe is a great original car and perfect for an awesome driver. This E-Type is complete with a four speed manual transmission, A/C, Ansa Exhaust, Weber carbs and Weber manifold. Original Stromberg carbs, air box and manifold are all included with purchase.
There is a spare in the trunk along with a jack. The steel wheels are in good condition and show no signs of rust or curb rash on them. The tires have very good life on them and are 205/65 R15 radials.
The mileage shows 24,833 and is not believed to be actual.
The car has been repainted in an Old English White, which is in good overall condition but does have some imperfections to the body. There are a few spots where the paint is peeling and there is some minor surface rust in those areas. There is also some bubbling on the bottoms of each door, the passenger side being the worst (see photos). The front and rear chrome bumpers have a great shine to them but do show some pitting.
The leather seats are both in good original condition with only some minor wear to the drivers seat. The passenger seat shows only very minimal wear. There is a spot on the armrest in the center where the leather is rubbing away (see photo). All gauges work along with the switches and headlights but the clock is not working. There is an after market AM/FM cassette player that is currently inoperable along with the wipers and horn.
The inline 4.2 liter 6 cylinder engine runs extra strong and is a ball to drive. The A/C compressor and lines are included with purchase. There are headers and a new Ansa exhaust that sounds great with its chrome tips coming out the back.
