1969 Jaguar XKE-Type is a great project car! Taken in as a trade in for a new Mazda MPV, this Jaguar comes with a clean title and loads of potential! To our knowledge it needs a new alternator and fuel pump and some overall TLC. The body is in good shape, having been kept in a garage for a number of years. There are a few minor dings and paint blemishes and the interior just needs a good clean up, with some attention to the dashboard. We know this car is in need of a good home.

ESTATE SALE AND NOT MY PERSONAL CAR. I AM REPRESENTING IT FOR OUR CLIENTS AND HAVE ONLY LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF IT. THIS CAR SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN OKLAHOMA. THIS IS A VERY CLEAN, RUST FREE CAR. I WOULD CONSIDER THIS CAR TO BE AVERAGE FOR AGE AND MILEAGE. IT APPEARS THAT SOMEONE HAS RECENTLY REPAINTED TO ITS ORIGINAL COLOR, DID SOME WORK TO THE INTERIOR, BRAND NEW TIRES, IN AN ATTEMPT TO UPDATE THIS TRUE CLASSIC. IS IT DONE TO PERFECTION? NO. BUT IS IT A GOOD EVRYDAY DRIVER, ABSOLUTELY! OUR CLIENTS TELL US THAT OVER $2800 WAS SPENT ON COMPLETE ENGINE REBUILD. MOTOR RUNS VERY WELL, NO OVERHEATING, NO SMOKE, AND JUST AN OCCASIONAL DROP OF OIL. TRANSMISSION FEELS VERY SOLID. WITH THIS ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION SETUP, THIS CAR PULLS LIKE A TRAIN. ALL GUAGES SEEMED TO WORK PROPERLY AT TIME OF DRIVING, OF WHICH I PUT APPROXIMATELY 25 MILES. STEERING AND FRONT END ARE VERY SOLID. THIS CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH AIR CONDITIONING AND WE ARE TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK PROPERLY. REAR HATCH TRIM IS LOOSE AND NEEDS TO BE RE-GLUED. PLASTIC A/C VENTS ON DASH ARE BROKEN. RADIO DOES NOT WORK. ORIGINAL RADIO IS IN TRUNK. FRONT LOWER CORE SUPPORT IS BENT SLIGHTLY BUT OFFERS NO PROBLEMS. BRAKES FEEL VERY GOOD. THERE WILL BE A FEW SMALL ISSUES WITH ANY CAR OF THIS TYPE. THATS JUST THE WAY IT IS. BUT NOTHING EARTH SHAKING. IN MY OPINION THIS IS NOT A PERFECT CAR, OR A 100 POINT SHOW WINNER, AND IT IS DEFINITELY NOT JUNK EITHER. I PLACE IT AS AVERAGE. THE BEST PART OF THIS CAR IS THE ENGINE REBUILD AND BEING RUST-FREE.

Nice daily driver. with a little love this could be a real show car. Car spent most of it life in Florida. I shipped it up about 8 years ago. I spent over $ 20,000.00 on exhaust, brakes, suspension and much more getting safety inspected and road worthy. It has air conditioning but it need a fan to get it back up and running. Tires and rims are good. all gauges and lights work. interior is nice with the normal wear and tear.
