I am the second owner of this vehicle. The first owner told me that he used it as a daily driver for the early part of its life. It was in storage between 1986 and late 2005.

It now has 35,000 miles on the odometer and is complete and in good original condition except for a few parking lot dings, 30 year old paint and some brittle rubber bits on the exterior. The interior still looks and smells like new.

Original colour was light blue.

I'm the 4th owner. Older gent bought it new in Vancouver, It sat from 1982 till about 2005 and a neighbour bought it. He didn't do

anything to the vehicle until my friend bought it. He put on new front brakes, tires, power steering pump, rebuilt the carbs, cleaned

and re-sealed the fuel tank, new fuel pump and lines, new headliner. He had it painted at a shop and a few days after the paint on

the bonnet and in front of the windshield started to bubble a bit. He sanded it down and could do a little respray to make it right.

If I don't sell it I will repaint it back to original. I bought it off him 6 months ago and put in new carpets and re lined the sun visors.

Interior is in great condition and the Car runs great as it only has 34,500 miles on it. Everything works except the clock.

Also has all the original tools and jack. I'll upload a pic with the original paint colour.

Private Party Or Dealer: Private Party

This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a Series II 2+2 coupe that is said to have been kept by its original owner in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada until 2005, and following a period of storage it was overhauled in 2017. Work included refinishing the car in green, refreshing the black and blue interior, rebuilding the carburetors, cleaning the fuel system, and brake work, and the seller subsequently acquired the car in 2019. Powered by its numbers-matching 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, the car features 15″ wire wheels, folding rear seats, and a Pianola AM/FM radio. This XKE is now offered in Canada with its removed sun visors, radio, and air cleaners as well as transferable British Columbia registration in the seller’s name.

The color was changed to green by the previous owner around 2017, and the seller notes bubbling on the hood ahead of the windshield as well as a blemish in the driver-side rear quarter panel.

Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are mounted with Jaguar-stamped knock-offs and wear 185-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The seller states that the previous owner replaced the tires, power-steering pump, front suspension components, and the front brake calipers in 2017.

The interior features front bucket seats and a folding rear bench with black leather upholstery. The seller installed blue carpeting in 2019 and re-covered the sun visors, which have not been reinstalled. The headliner was replaced in 2017, and amenities include a clock as well as a Pianola AM/FM radio. A spare tire is mounted under the rear cargo area.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges that extend across the dashboard above driver switchgear. The seller notes that the trip odometer does not reset and the ignition cover is missing. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 34,500 miles, about 300 of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and delivers power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Service in 2017 is said to have included rebuilding the carburetors, cleaning and resealing the fuel tank, and replacing the fuel pump as well as the fuel lines. Service since that time has included replacing the ignition coil and the flex pipes for the exhaust. Aftermarket air cleaners are currently installed, and the removed components are included in the sale.

The engine-block stamping reads 7R39655-9, which matches the numbers shown on the identification plate affixed to the car.
