Offered here is a S3 V12 Roadster, from the final year of production, which was the subject of a comprehensive restoration around 14 years ago and has covered only a few thousand miles since completion of said restoration. It is offered complete with a history file and photographic record, which demonstrates that the car was equipped with many new components during the restoration, which also included a full engine rebuild.

Finished in red with black hood and black leather interior, the car is equipped with the more desirable manual transmission, sits on chrome wire wheels and is said to a real pleasure to drive.
Guide Price: £28500 to £32500

I purchased this fantastic car in July 2012. I now have the Jaguar heritage certificate which shows her to be a UK RHD matching numbers car and in her original colour of signal red with black interior. The previous owner had her 24 years and his brother owned her before that. Vicarage did the re-build and she has obviously had money lavished on her with no thought to the expense. I have carried on the tradition and had everything gone through to ensure she remains in a stunning condition. The mechanic who I employ to look after her every need says she is in fine condition and says she is as good underneath and under the bonnet as she looks externally. I am getting "wow" or a 'thumbs up' every 5 minutes or 5 miles whichever comes sooner. This is my 3rd V12 e-type DHC and by far and away in the best condition. She has the sensible up-grades for reliability such as high output alternator, higher wattage head lights, 123 ignition and adjustable suspension.

Back in 1961 the media called the E-Type looking phallic, so the love of my life is called......Willy.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
