Correct ID tags in place.
Engine #: 7S101LB

Handbook and literature packet included.

Purchased by the recently deceased owner at British Motors in SF on April 13, 1979 with 30,588 miles for $10,635 as per the original sales invoice.

Full history from 1979 forward via repair/parts invoices/repair orders (over 100 documents)

Fully documented engine overhaul and massive general service performed 300 miles ago for over $25k.

Cosmetically restored in 1990 with fresh paint

Complete interior restoration probably performed circa 1990 as well included all new correct leather, new headliner, new carpets, new cargo area/rear door inner trim. Interior appears essentially new.

Nardi Steering wheel.

Non-correct low restriction exhaust system gives a more pronounced growl.

Excellent chrome

Correct spare tire/wheel with jack/jack bag and mallet.

Clean and tidy spare tire well.

Dry rubber seals doors/hatch cover/cowl etc.

Discolored vent screen rear hatch door.

Undernose air scoop removed.

Excellent dash face with one AC vent vanes missing. AC does not blow cold.

Baggy visors.

Good oil pressure and cool running in SF area.

Broken driver's outside mirror control

Excellent cold and hot starting

Sellers description:
This 1973 Jaguar XKE 2+2 is in excellent condition. A California car, this XKE was in the same family of doctors until the third owner, also a doctor, purchased the car. It now resides with a serious collector in the South.

Exterior is Indigo (Dark Blue) and the paint is in excellent condition. All chrome and trim still looks showroom new. The interior is a red leather bucket seat interior. No wear or tear, it is in new condition.

Engine is the original V-12 5.3 liter with automatic transmission. Factory options are power steering, power brakes, AC, and Kelsey wire wheels with a full wire wheel spare tire.

This 1973 Jaguar XKE 2+2 has always been garaged and was not driven in inclement weather. Miles are 58,000 original miles. This Jaguar is located in Louisiana.
