Something very special for our Classic Auction on Saturday May 17th being collected by our specialists at P&L Logistics and movements. WITHOUT RESERVE. Chassis number 861771 - originally registered as BYX670B on December 1st 1964 the car was supplied by Henley's Limited London in Opalescent Maroon. By 1972 we can see from the cars history file it was owned in the Wigan area and the history file goes on to detail the cars registered keepers from then on. The car has been with the vendor and current registered keeper since 1992 when the car was restored. From an RF60 continuation book within the history file we see the Chassis Number noted as 861731 which was most likely a typo on the original RF60 book from 861771. As the engine number is recorded as RA7460-9 and remains as sighted. The vendor a motor engineer to trade when restoring the car located the Body Number V8627 behind the dashboard and has a JDHT Trace Certificate to this effect. The vendor points out that he fitted an additional brake servo to the front brakes of the car to improve stopping in modern traffic, this is located in front of the passengers footwell to the rear of the engine bay taking extra vacuum into the cars braking system. FOR AUCTION SATURDAY MAY 17TH.
