*The final evolution of the legendary Jaguar E-Type
Completed in January of 1973, the sensational example of Jaguar's legendary V12 E-Type offered here left the Browns Lane Jaguar Works configured as a left-hand drive car, destined for the US. It was finished as it appears today, in the stunning, period-appropriate Sand Green exterior color, and trimmed in neatly contrasting Olive-colored leather interior. The E-Type Roadster is known to have been cared for by one single owner for nearly half a century, and today presents in highly original and superbly preserved condition inside and out. Just over 29,000 miles was recorded on the odometer at the time of cataloging, a figure believed to be original looking at the preserved condition throughout. Original lights and lenses remain intact, as does chrome and brightwork. The car is fitted with air conditioning, and a black convertible soft top is available on a rainy day. With its stunning Sand Green over Olive color-combination, this end-of-the-run E-Type looks delightfully 1970s indeed and offers silky-smooth V12 open-top cruising in style.
