Owner: Olli

S3 Open Two Seater. Nice vehicle originally from California,USA in obviously very good condition. Brought to Frankfurt, Germany in April, 2008 by Mr. Peters / Automobile Individuell. But I didn't trust the American botchers who partly restored the car ("Los Prestolitos" as my mechanic Markus K. says :))) Another reason was the poor paint - badly done. So we removed the paint for metalworks. Any bad rusty surprises but a few things really had to be done..... to be continued

Hey Pauls,
can you give me some more information about the car's history?

Olli,
Sorry didn't see your question but have posted all I know about the car. Suggest you contact Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust and order a build record/certificate, the original owner and location are sometimes provided. However it would be a good idea to get any info available from the seller otherwise histories are lost... Preventing that loss is partially why this site was created. Good luck with your car.

Might have been cheaper to have bought a documented restored car?

Not at all. lol. A few friends owe me a big favor. One is a painter the other a restorer. Brilliant combination, isn't it? ;)

Hi, I am still the owner of this car but I want to change a few data things: would you be so kind and delete the last four sentences of my comment. I had trouble with this Markus K. a few years ago. Thanks.
Best regards
Olli

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
