Ebay item 8/6/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1974-Jaguar-XKE-T-type-Roadster-V12-auto-23k-original-mi ...
Opening bid $1,000 reserve not met, no bids 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1974 Jaguar XKE Roadster 23800 actual miles, unrestored collector condition, with only one repaint painted in the original green sand exterior color.
It has desirable options, a smooth shifting automatic transmission, powerful numbers matching V12. There is plenty of power going to the Stromberg carburators. Drives very smooth, tight (as it should be with 23800 miles), handles great, no rattles, stops great, steering is tight.

It also has air conditioning, the fan switch isn't working. The heater core has been bypassed, not sure why. Both easy fixes. All of the guages on the dashboard work. I took a picture of the oil pressure gauge, and tachometer while it is running.

All of the necessary parts come with the car, knock off lead hammer, jack, original spare wire wheel knock off, with the original dunlop tire holding air.

The car was painted sometime in the 80's, since it was painted, it has been kept in a heated temperature controlled atmosphere. One tiny blister, and a couple of chips in the paint here and there, and a few very minor imperfections. None of the imperfections show up in the pictures. I would rate the body and paint on the car a solid 8. Its not perfect, but a great original car. The chrome on the car is in excellent like new condition the glass is good, original triplexxx windshield. The soft top is new, chrome wheels have very minor pitting - probably can be cleaned up with some steelwool.

The interior is in great condition, the headrest on the drivers side would need to be repadded to make the interior near perfect. Carpet is clean, compartment in rear is clean, no cuts on the dash, all original.

This E type is just about rust free, excellent car with a nice rare exterior color.
