Lofty: if you look at this, please let me know what was involved in upgrading the brakes. I have the identical car in LHD and want to make it a driver, and I want newer brakes. thanks.ron

Twin pot calipers on the front discs obtained from www.sngbarratt.com/. Apparently it is inadvisable to make the brakes too good without putting baffles in the sump to prevent oil starvation under heavy braking causing all the oil to go to the front of the sump.

GOH 1D is the original registration. It was originally registered to Jaguar dealers P J Evans Ltd (now Evans Henshaw) of Birmingham (hence the "OH" registration) on 8 June 1966. It was bought by Field & Grant Ltd (now STS Switchgear Ltd) on 22 June 1966 who sold it to J Lloyd & Son Ltd on 2 June 1969. It then had 4 more private owners until the present owner acquired it in 1976. It has been completely rebuilt by Jon Whittal of Truro.
