For sale on eBay UK at £95,000
Jaguar E-Type Roadster 1969 Fully Restored

    www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-1969-Fully-Restored-/131563300131

1969 series 2 Roadster Matching Numbers as can be verified by jaguar heritage

    Vehicle History

This 1969 roadster left the factory as a LHD car painted in the colour Sable and was first registered on the 12th Feb 1969 with the registration number UDU899G as can be seen on the export document.
The cars purchaser shipped the car to Panama and then to Bethesda USA where it stayed with various owners before I purchased the car from near
San Francisco and bought it back to the UK in Jan 2013 ( All duties paid )

    Restoration

The car then underwent a fully documented and photographic body rotisserie restoration at North Cheshire Classics Stockport where the inner and outer sills, floor and cross member were replaced on the passenger side, and the floor cross member and outer sill were replaced on the drivers side, all the replacement body panels were spot welded as the car came out of the factory, there was a small repair made to part of the boot floor in the spare tire well with all the body joints being leaded as it came out of the factory(no body filler).
The rest of the body was in very good shape ( no rust ) with excellent door boot and bonnet gaps.
The engine frames were in excellent condition showing no distortion or repairs which indicates this car is accident free.

The car was converted to RHD and resprayed in Opalescent Dark Green and sits on 4 new wire spoke wheels and tires

John Arnold of Revival Motorsport who builds etype cars for clients to race came highly recommended and fully rebuilt the Engine with electronic ignition and Mechanicals and has a photographic record of the engine and mechanical rebuild (excluding the gear box which was fully inspected inside and synchromeshes checked and which John deemed to be okay). John is more than happy to discuss all the work which was carried out to the Engine and Mechanicals and all the parts that were replaced some of which were a new water pump, oil pump, starter motor, alternator, brake and clutch master and slave cylinders, etc etc.
You can google John Arnold Revival Motorsport and check out his pedigree etc.

The car then had a hand made (excluding sort top) leather interior by Lee Drake Auto Trim
Lee also came highly reccomended and does a lot of work for a number of clients in the restoration business and you can also Google Lee and check out his portfolio of pictures.

As part of the restoration a new wireing loom was fitted, new chrome light bodies and the list goes on.

For any further information, photos and to discuss the price you can call me

    Garry on 07770 357253

The Car has now done 63 miles since its restoration

All the LHD parts are available with the car should anybody wish to convert it back

For sale at The Supercar Rooms of Hartlebury for £106,995. Seller's description below.
    www.thesupercarrooms.co.uk/car-details/jaguar-e-type-roadster-series-2-for-sale- ...

Delivered in 1969, finished in Sable, this vehicle was delivered to Panama before relocating to the USA where it stayed until 2013 before being imported by the previous owner from San Francisco. On its return to home soil a complete restoration was undertaken, the body was stripped to a bare chassis, replacement outer sills, both floor and cross members and passenger side inner sill, all body panels were then spot welded in place as per the factory method before lead loading of all body joints.

The engine was then stripped down inspected and all required components replaced such as water pump, oil pump, starter motor, alternator, clutch and brake master cylinders, the choice was made to add electronic ignition before carrying out an inspection of the gearbox which was found to be in good order. The final stage of restoration came with a complete new interior being commissioned to give this outstanding example the finishing touch, photographic evidence during the restoration is available for any prospective purchaser to look through.
