I live just outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.This is my first E-Type. Looking forward to restoring and driving this beauty.

British car lover, 1960 TR 3A and now a 1972 JAG V12. Hope to make it to a show some day

Found this E-Type in the "Penny Saver" in Hayward Ca. in 1985. Purchased it from the original owner John Sedlak who bought it new in New Jersey. Sadly he has passed. He drove it two or three times from New Jersey to the Bay area where he worked. The car had no rust and was all original,,,well except for the bonnet. John had wrecked the car in San Francisco so he purchased a used bonnet for $50.00 from a local junk yard. This bonnet is from an early car as that cars' i.d. number is stamped on the inside, upper right side of the bonnet. Later bonnets did no have this stamp on them.
I drove it for three years and then decided to restore it. The restoration took two years. A local Jaguar shop rebuilt the drivetrain and I spent hours bead blasting all the many parts and schlepping them to the cad plater. I also rewired the car with new harnesses from Rhode Island Red. The painter had the body for a year and a half and charged me $5000.00! The paint still looks fantastic! I showed it for over twenty years in the L.A., San Diego, Inland Empire Jaguar and San Francisco Concours. Many JCNA awards sit in the den.
Now she resides in the garage and is driven around the local neighborhoods. My wife hates this car, "too low, too hot, too stinky..no room" O.K...O.K.... so I found (again in the Bay area) a 1996 XJ6 VDP Saloon. This she likes. Then I found a 2004 XKR in Palm Springs. Then a 2003 XJ sport Saloon in L.A. They only made 1,009 of these in 2003. It has the "R" suspension, trim and interior but no supercharger. When you buy one Jaguar, you wind up with many more, so watch out!

I'm a 66 FHC who, after years of neglect, has captured the imagination of my owner's twin 8 year olds. They want me driveable once again. I see the sparkle in my owner's eyes once again. How I've missed that!

This car was described as unrestorable... not so ! It was bought over from the State in 2014 and the subject of a 2 year restoration and upgrade by "The Carriage Company. I purchased this beauty, now registered in the UK as "XKE 42E" and resides in Dartmouth, Devon.

I was born in 1960 and my boys' dream nine years later. Bought the Jag in Feb 2006 through Ebay, I shipped it and it arrived in the Netherlands in April 2006. In the meantime, the body has been welded (almost 500 hours), and painted in the original color. She's back on her wheels now, and right at this moment the engine is being overhauled completely and I'm expecting to have it back in the car around the end of Jan!! We live in Woodinville, and own Jack Russell Terriers, 3 horses, and various sports cars.

I've been the owner of this car since 1992. My father bought it new June 1968. It's currently in total restoration in my basement. IRS is about to go back together. Waiting on body to come back from dipper and oem e-coating. I'm thinking of opalescent dark blue with red interior.
