Just a small town Southern Oregon native who thought he'd died and gone to heaven when he saw his first XKE in the early '60's. Soon as I got a job out of college, I bought the first one I found that I could afford. I'm primarily a flyfisherman, and not much of a mechanic, so owning an XKE in a remote part of the country had been a bit of a challenge. I know mine isn't worth much, but I haven't seen one on the road in years, so I'm still pretty proud of mine, although I know it would make a purist shudder,

I have owned this E-Type since 1972. I am personally restoring it. I have much info on parts and suppliers.

Proud owner of this well cared for originally restored XKE in Northern California. I was fortunate enough to enjoy and almost identical car (same year, type and color) that my dad owned more than 47 years ago. Loved the car then, still love the car now. The most beautiful car in the world!!

I have owned many E-Types and have owned this one since sometime in 2003. I have had the rear end, engine and most elect. components rebuilt as well as a new, down to bare metal respray in the original color of "Sable". Also, I recently installed all new rubber seals and a new interior in "Biscuit" color. We drive this car, with other members of the Jaguar Club of Pittsburgh, to Watkins Glen each September for the vintage races. This car is not a trailer queen but a really nice, reliable driver. Dan

Up till my retirement in 2002 I was a Director with Jaguar Belgium. In 1999 one of our former dealers died and in 2000 I was able to buy from his widow his original 1961 OTS flatfloor Type with 63.000 documented Km. Although not 'concours', the car is a pure 'time-wharp'. It shows its age and has a wonderful 'patina', not to be matched by 'fully restored ' exemples. The driving however is as thrilling as it was back in 1961 !

I live in Worcs UK with my wife and two boys (and Paddy the springer spaniel pup who is available for functions) they have no interest in cars whatsoever. Hopefully it will stay that way and they won't want to borrow mine !

My high school girlfriends' father had a 63 XKE roadster in BRG. I swore no vehicle could compare to that beauty. And, now I own one. Yippee for me!

This is the 2nd Jaguar I've owned. I intend to bring this baby back to as close as possible to original. It's currently a good everyday drive & I don't want to lose that.

I have had many xke's over the years. This most recent one was purchased in Ca. three years ago at European Collectibles. The car spent some time at my residence in Az before being shipped to its current location in NJ.

Retired engineer with too many house projects to start the E project, but hope reigns eternal.

Im a 52yr old- been dabbling in cars in my adulthood since my first car- 1969 Camaro purchased in 1986. have done several ground up restos, but all have been American Muscle cars. I do all my own work, but with the e-type, i will have the engine rebuilt by a professional.

Have been an "MG kinda guy" for 35+ years (my wife to be was driving an MGA coupe when I met her way back then.) We currently have a 76 MG Midget, a 77 MGB, and the most recent - the 70 FHC. The Jag was "her" idea - honest - she talked me into buying about 5 years ago. The MG's sit a lot nowadays..........

I was into hot rods as a teenager and the car bug has never left me. Have a 53' MG TD that I restored over a 10 year span but as it was finished and I quite motorcycles, I wanted a new dream. In May of 2010 I bought what I've wanted since 1962 and the 67' e-type joined the MG in the garage. After a couple of trips to the Jag Doctor and much time in my hot garage, the E runs like a watch and is a joy to drive. The original paint looks very good after much elbow greese and good wax.

This is my first restoration project.

I am fortunate to have found my S2 E-type coupe-- an extremely solid car which is being slowly transformed into a fast track day machine. I have owned several Jags including an XKE OTS, 2 XJS's, an S-Type, and an XJ6. All of which were great machines especially if one likes to tinker.

1st car project ovner who totally loves it. my kids both claim the car is theirs. and they are only 3 & 6.
